We are getting below issue while executing SAPOSS rfc in our server.
Note : We have 4 SAP instances installed in that same server, SAPOSS rfc is working fine in rest of the 3 instances.
Getting issue in only the above system.
Can you please let us know how to move forward.

Hi,
we just re-format the SAPSERVER and reinstalled all needed for SAB1. The license for it is working perfeclty fine. When we are opening the application it was able to open it and was able to assigned or put a check mark to the license check box and other add-ons. in short it was working fine in the server.
Now, we are trying to connect from the client (workstation) to the server and its giving us the error message of:
Connection with license server failed [Message 60070-15]

I have a problem in using SAP B1 8.8. I have 2 separated server which is one is contain license server and the other server contain database company. My client doesn't want the company database in one server with license server. In SAP B1 2007 that my client used before, this is not a problem. But now, in SAP B1 8.8, it's become a problem because SAP remove "CHANGE SERVER" button in modul change company. I tried to click in the server list but the server that appear is License Server only. I can't find Database Server.
So, How can i choose the database server ?

I have problem with Managed System Configuration in Solman, when i configure for AS Java Netweaver Portal, in step 4 "Enter System Parameter".
DBA Cockpit Connection Status was red with details in DB parameters:
| The connection is not set up correctly. |
| SQL error 2: Named Pipes Provider: Could not open a connectionto SQL Server [2]. |
When i click on Setup DBA Cockpit Connection button in DB Parameter panel, there is warning message appears with log:
Long Text: The DBACockpit connection can not be established The DB credentials will not be saved and the DB extractors for collecting DB Performance data will not be activated.
Details:
SQL error 17 : SQL Server does not exist or access denied.
It is should be not a firewall problem, because i can access the database with SQL command in Solman OS level.
Is there configuration that i missed?
Please let me know if you need other information to help solve this issue.

Hello,
I am working on a support ticket with SAP + SAP requested me to upgrade the customer database copy to latest patch and test there.
I had 8.8 SP0 PL10 installed already on my PC.
I downloaded PL15 from the SAP portal and started the upgrade wizard.
Server tools, SBO common and company database upgraded successfully, installed addons etc.. When I logged into SBO the upgrade of the client started. After 4 hours it still was not finished and appeared to be hanging and not responsive. I killed the process and rebooted.
Now I cannot reinstall the client. I go to add/remove programs and If I click change or remove I get the error: 1628: Failed to complete installation
There is no SBO icon on the desktop and it is not under programs list. I cannot launch the SBO client.
Any ideas?

If I open up the Server Manager and go to the u2018license Manageru2019 I can see that I can re set this, however I do not know what the original / standard password is.
Can any one help me.

hi,
planned for production server restart,we have logged in as <sid>adm and executed command stopsap all in that it shows database is running and instance as stopped,also stopped database manually using db2 <sid> username and db2stop command.

Can you please help me to setup the SBO Mailer (of SAP B1 2007 B PL13) with Gmail SMTP setting. i.e. smtp.gmail.com.
I tried but the no authentication type has been passed. But the same SBO Mailer works with my company smtp mail settings, which is basically of type no authentication.
To find installation number, Portal said:
<b>In an SAP system you can find your installation number under System -> Status.</b>
I am having a hard time finding this.. I login as manager in SBO now.., went to Administrator, etc, but didn't see any SYSTEM -> STATUS to find installation ID.
Can anyone help?

Is it possible to log out forcefully by command prompt
Suppose "X" user is log in to a system,now I want X to log off because I am restarting the SAP Server.
please give me the way to log off SAP user thru command.

In HR Portal , sapstartsrv process is consuming more memory (more than 6gb ) in sap java HR Portal.
SAP HR portal : Window system.
Can you please tel why it is taking more memory space.

While I am doing data Entry in outgoing payment. Iam getting a Error as follows:-
(-1101) [Microsoft] [SQL SERVER NATIVE CLIENT 10.0] COMMUNICATION LINK FAILURE
Can anybody help me out regarding this issue.
